What is Rezum or water vapor therapy?

The Rezum System is a minimally invasive treatment for the treatment of symptoms related to Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia.

This device allows us to inject water vapor at 103ºC into the prostate from the urethra generating a thermal energy that manages to eliminate the prostate tissue responsible for the obstruction of urine flow.

The main difference with the laser surgery is that it is possible to treat the adenoma from the inside without affecting the urethral anatomy, so the patient maintains erectile and ejaculatory function after the procedure.
