Dr. Víctor Parejo Participated as a Speaker at the ABU 2026 Congress

Dr. Víctor Parejo Cortés, specialist in Urology and Andrology at Andrología Mallorca, a TAUS Clinics centre, participated as a speaker at the ABU 2026 Congress, held on 2 and 3 October at the Blau Punta Reina Hotel in Cala Mendia, Mallorca.

On Saturday, 3 October, Dr. Parejo delivered one of the keynote lectures on the scientific programme, entitled “Minimally Invasive Techniques for the Surgical Treatment of Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia”. The session was moderated by R. Guldris García from Hospital Universitari Son Espases.

Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH) is one of the most common urological conditions in men and can cause symptoms that significantly affect quality of life. In this context, minimally invasive techniques are playing an increasingly important role, offering effective treatment options with less invasive approaches and recovery times.

Dr. Parejo’s participation in the ABU 2026 Congress highlights his experience in this field. His clinical practice is particularly focused on the treatment of BPH using advanced techniques, including laser vaporisation, Holmium laser enucleation of the prostate (HoLEP) and Rezūm.

In particular, Dr. Víctor Parejo has extensive experience in HoLEP, a technique he has been performing since 2014. This minimally invasive procedure allows enlarged prostates, including large-volume prostates, to be treated through the urethra.

The participation of Andrología Mallorca and TAUS Clinics in this scientific meeting underlines the group’s commitment to continuing medical education, innovation and the use of advanced techniques in Urology and Andrology.

Through the participation of its specialists in congresses and professional meetings, TAUS Clinics continues to promote knowledge sharing and clinical expertise within the medical community, contributing to increasingly specialised urological care focused on patients’ individual needs.
