This innovative technique, introduced by Dr. Bonet in 2023, enhances the detection of clinically significant tumors by combining multiparametric MRI (mpMRI) with real-time transrectal ultrasound. Image fusion significantly improves diagnostic accuracy and reduces the risk of false negatives.
“We were the first to introduce this technique in the Balearic Islands, and today we continue to lead its implementation with outstanding diagnostic results,” explains Dr. Bonet.
