We
highlight the active participation of Dr. Bonet and Dr. Parejo during the XXVI
National Meeting of the Andrology Group and VIII National Meeting of the
Reconstructive Surgery Group in Madrid on February 8 and 9.
Dr. Parejo
addressed the scenario about “Fear of pouch placement without a second
incision,” highlighting the importance of facing this fear from the
perspective of younger professionals in the field of urology.
During his
talk, he shared personal experiences and perspectives on how to address this
common challenge among urologists dedicated to prosthetic surgery. “It is
crucial to recognize that the fear of pouch placement without a second incision
is a real barrier for many young surgeons, but it should not be an obstacle if
we know the different placement alternatives,” he said.
On the
other hand, Dr. Bonet presented a significant contribution during the event.
His presentation focused on clinical cases related to complications after the
placement of penile prostheses. Dr. Bonet provided a critical insight,
highlighting the importance of continued care and proper management of
complications in clinical practice.
Both
presentations managed to provide a valuable contribution by highlighting the
importance of intergenerational collaboration and knowledge exchange.
